Beautiful Souls
What was a moment where you were truly loving yourself and loving life? This was the question I put to my friends and community as I started this series.
Rather than dictating how I want my subjects to look and be as artists traditionally do, I instead let volunteers represent themselves by submitting a photo on their own choosing that conveys their own personal sense of exuberant joy.
Moments of raw beauty such as these already works of art in and of themselves. In this series, I honor these beautiful moments and the beautiful souls that experienced them. The unique expressions of all these beautiful souls are a testament to the vibrant and rich variety of the human experience.
